Everybody in Japan knows Antonio Inoki as he was one of the best Japanese professional wrestlers. After he retired from it, he became a politician.
He is very famous for how he greets people: He shouts ‘how are you?’ in Japanese. He started to say that when he had an election campaign for the first time in 1989.
Listen carefully at the start of the video below. He says 元気(げんき)ですか(ge n ki de su ka)which means ‘How are you?’.
