One by one
- 妹(いもうと) → my younger sister
- は → no meaning
- しずかで → quiet and
- あたまがいい → smart
- です → is
Example
My father is strict and scary. |
chi chi wa ki bi shi ku te ko wa i de su |
父はきびしくてこわいです。 |
My mother is kind and funny. |
ha ha wa ya sa shi ku te o mo shi ro i de su |
母はやさしくておも白いです。 |
Note: adjective + person
Add 人(ひと)after the second adjective if you want to say ‘My younger sister is a quiet and smart person‘.

My younger sister is a quiet and smart person.
妹はしずかであたまがいい人です。
