You bow after you say しつれいします。
They may ask you to sit

You sit down after you say ありがとうございます。
They may ask what your exam number is

受験番号(じゅけんばんごう)は何番(なんばん)ですか。
They may ask what your name is
What is your name?
お名前(なまえ)は何(なん)ですか。
During the exam
If you like to change a conversation topic
Excuse me. May I talk about a part time job?
すみません。アルバイトについて話(はな)してもいいですか。
Change the word in yellow into what you want to talk about.
At the end of the exam
When you finish a speaking exam
Thank you very much.
ありがとうございました。
ました indicates the past tense. You say ました because you finished a speaking exam.
You bow and stand up after you say ありがとうございました。
At the door before you leave the room
Excuse me.
失礼(しつれい)しました。
ました indicates the past tense. You say ました because you finished it.
You bow after you say しつれいしました。
