カップヌードルという食べ物は日本人によって作られました。カップヌードルを作った人の名前はあんどうももふくです。ももふくはだれでもどこでもすぐにかんたんに食べられるラーメンを作りたかったので、カップヌードルを作ることにしました。

カップヌードルを作るとき、どんぶりはいりません。おゆを入れてふたをして三分まつとラーメンができあがります。とてもべんりですね。

Food called Cup Noodle was made by a Japanese person. The name of the person who made it is Momofuku Ando. Momofuku decided to make it as he wanted to make a ramen which anybody can eat quickly and easily anywhere.

You don’t need a bowl when you cook it. Ramen will be ready if you put in hot water, put a lid on and wait for 3 minutes. It is very convenient, isn’t it.

English translation:

Hello, everybody. Today’s topic is chopsticks. Japanese people use them when they eat Japanese meals like rice and miso soup. They don’t use them for western meals like bread or steaks. Instead, they use forks, spoons and knives.

Japanese people learn how to use chopsticks from parents or adults when they are small. It is difficult to use them at first but they get used to it gradually. Primary students eat school lunch using them correctly.

Be careful of some manners when you use them. Firstly, you are not allowed to lick stuff around them. Secondly, you are not allowed to stab the food with them for eating. Besides, you are not allowed to pull plates with them. Let’s remember them.
