The ad was made by The Asahi Shimbun Company（朝日新聞）and released for the 98th national high school baseball tournament which took place in August, 2016.
The song girls are singing in the ad is the theme song of the tournament which was released in 1948. The song is very well known in Japan.
The Asahi Shimbun Company is the main sponsor of the tournament every year. It is one of the biggest newspaper companies in Japan.
All the games till the final are broadcast on NHK (Channel 1, public broadcasting). You can see a highlight on TV Aasahi (Channel 5, free-to-air) on each day when there are three or four games.
