What to write
You should have a conclusion at the end of your writing composition. You can start with まとめると which is ‘in conclusion’ in Japanese, but not necessarily.
It is more important to summarise what you wrote in body paragraphs in a conclusion paragraph. You can also write your opinion if you want.
How long
A conclusion paragraph should be around 10% of the whole writing.
Example
The examples below are all around 60 ji. You should have a longer conclusion if you need to write a more than 600 ji essay.
Conclusion for evaluative writing
