How to use ち
- person + ん + ち
- person + suffix (to show respect) + ち
Example without suffix
- こばやしんち (Kobayashi’s house)
- ひろしんち (Hiroshi’s house)
- みゆきんち (Miyuki’s house)
Example with suffix
- こばやしくんち (Kobayashi’s house)
- ひろしさんち (Hiroshi’s house)
- みゆきちゃんち (Miyuki’s house)
Note
ち without the suffix to respect people sounds quite rough and informal.
ち with the suffix sounds informal but ok.
So, you should use ち with the suffix
if you want to use ち to talk about somebody’s house.
